Although the house was clean there were some things that could not be avoided or looked over. Number one when you walk in the house it smells very much like old wet wood, there is no couch just a two seater chair so if you plan on relaxing in the living room to watch a movie that’s not happening. The master bedroom‘s bed the legs underneath the bed were broken and bent I sunk...

“We were looking for a place to stay for a month in Bakersfield. We wanted something family friendly that we could bring our grandkids to and not worry about damaging anything. This little house was perfect. It was comfortable without being trashed and have a very family feel all the way to the bath toys for kids and great backyard. It really felt like a home.We have stayed at house and condos through VRBO quite a few times in several states and this was by far the best experience.”

13. Exquisite Scandinavian touch private guest suite in newly built neighborhood

Bakersfield

“Very clean and comfortable home, responsive and generous host. When I arrived, there was a discrepancy on the number of bedrooms, but Belinda very quickly accommodated my situation by opening an adjoining unit and allowing me to to use it . She was very receptive to feedback about her listing accuracy. I was touched by her generosity. She clearly cares about the space and there are a lot of little touches around that shows me that she wants her guest to have as good of a stay as possible.”
