Fresche brezze di .... Agosto
La casa rispecchia perfettamente le foto dell'annuncio. I suoi pregi principali sono sicuramente la piscina (che consente di isolarsi anche nei giorni di maggiore affollamento delle spiaggie), il giardino curatissimo e la pulizia dei locali. La posizione in collina, anche se richiede una macchina per recarsi al mare, consente di avere una costante ventilazione che rende gradevoli anche le più calde giornate di Ferragosto. Angela ed Eugenio sono degli host perfetti, sempre attenti a verificare che tutto vada bene e dei quali non possiamo dimenticare i deliziosi fichi donatici. Data la vicinanza all'autostrada, la location è ideale per esplorare la Sicilia orientale. Decisamente consigliata

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung
Am vereinbarten Treffpunkt in Balestrate wurden wir von den Gastgebern Angela und Eugenio begrüßt und fuhren zu unserem Urlaubsdomizil. Das Haus ist ca. 800 m außerhalb von Balestrate inmitten von Oliven- und Obstplantagen auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Haus und Grundstück bieten jeglichen Komfort. Die Küchenausstattung ist umfangreich, es fehlt an nichts. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein Fernseher mit Satellitenemfang (keine Privatsender wie Rtl, etc.). Im EG ist auch ein Bad. Im oberen Geschoss sind die Schlafräume und ein zweites Bad. Der Garten mit dem Pool ist wunderschön angelegt und bietet einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Berge. Es gibt einen überdachten Aussenbereich mit gemütlicher Sitzgruppe und einem separaten Essbereich. Der Pool wird regelmäßig vom Eigentümer Eugenio gereinigt. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Grillbereich. Neben unserem Ferienhaus gibt es 2 bebaute Nachbargrundstücke, von denen nur eines bewohnt ist (italienisches Ehepaar, sehr ruhig). Bei Fragen oder kleineren Problemen war Angela per WhatsApp umgehend erreichbar oder Eugenio innerhalb von 10 Minuten vor Ort. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit reizenden Gastgebebern. Da das Ferienhaus ausser- und oberhalb von Balestrate liegt, ist ein Auto unumgänglich, alleine auch um Sizilien zu erkunden.

Great stay!
We had a nice time staying here. The only and biggest downside was the fact that the pool was out of order. Which we did not know (since it was advertised with the pool). So that was a bit unfortunate, other than that the place is lovely.

Grazie per le belle parole. Mi dispiace per il malinteso della piscina, nella descrizione della villa c'è scritto il periodo di apertura e chiusura , purtroppo la signora non l'ha letto, infatti nel prezzo non era incluso l'uso della piscina proprio perché chiusa . Siamo sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi chiarimento. Villa Eugenio.

Erholsamer Urlaub
Die Villa mit Garten und Pool ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Wer einen erholsamen Urlaub abseits vom Trubel haben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin hat über Telefon und WhatsApp wunderbar funktioniert und alle Fragen wurden beantwortet. Den Ort Balestrate erreicht man in wenigen Minuten und hier gibt es alle notwendigen Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs. Die Villa steht auf einer Anhöhe und ich empfehle ein Auto mit höherer Bodenfreiheit, da es Straßenschäden gibt. Ansonsten alles tipptopp und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

House with lovely pool
Villa Eugenio is a lovely house, close to the autostrada for trips and in fantastically kept gardens. We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool, which was always warm as well as the BBQ. The house is in a nice position with a view of the sea. The road leading to it is steep and single tracked, with few passing places, so easier with a small car! Angela and Eugenio met us at the bottom of the road on arrival to show us the way. They were friendly and helpful hosts, responding quickly to messages on WhatsApp. The aircon upstairs was helpful for sleeping. Great views from the big picture windows downstairs but they let in a lot of heat. None of the windows have mosquito screens so opening the windows to cool the house let mosquitoes in. My children and husband get bitten by mosquitoes a lot, so this wasn’t an option, so we found the ground floor very hot (obviously not a problem if mosquitoes don’t bother you). We would have spent more time outside in the evening, but there were too wasps for my kids (there was a wasp nest in the garden), probably due to the timing of our stay in August. We experienced a few power cuts (not unusual for Sicily) mostly short, but one lasted 7 hours. Eugenio came over really quickly to unlock the electric gates so we could get out, which was great. Worth noting that the water supply in the house relies on a pump, so we were without water for the 7 hours- although inconvenient, we managed, but it may be more tricky with young children.

Grazie per le belle parole, volevamo solo precisare che abbiamo provveduto a fare rimuovere il nido di vespe. Purtroppo avendo in Sicilia un clima caldo umido le zanzare ci sono, ma la casa è provvista di appositi strumenti elettrici anti zanzare, se ce lo faceva sapere avremmo provveduto. Cerchiamo di fare del nostro meglio per farvi trascorrere una serena vacanza , siamo sempre a vostra disposizione! .

Lovely Villa
We had a great stay at the villa, the pool and gardens are as good as the photos! The villa is clean and has everything that you need. We didn't spend much time inside as its so nice to be sat in the covered area when the garden is illuminated at night. Angela & Eugenio were great hosts they welcomed us and kept us updated. Eugenio keeps on top of the pool and garden but is always very discreet so you never know he's there. We all had a a great time. Thank you.

A perfect stay in a big, clean villa with garden and amazing view
The property has a great view with the garden’ mountains and sea. Everything is very clean. Communication is perfect. Everything you need is in the house. Seats are great and numerous available. Windscreens can be closed to hide from the wind if necessary. Wifi works stable. Balestrate is a good starting place to visit the northwest of Sicily as the A29 autoroute is nearby. Palermo and Monreale is well known, Erice is great, the via del sale to Marsala is worth a visit. The panoramic viewpoint of Castellamare del Golfo, Scopello and San Vito Lo Cabo can be a good trip. Alcamo Is special, can be done in combination with the ancient temple and theatre of Segesta. Termini Imerese and the castle of Caccamo are also worth a visit.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus und sehr freundliche Gastgeber
Es war rundum alles perfekt. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut zu erreichen. Das Haus war sehr groß und sehr sauber. Der Garten und die Aussicht sind ein Traum. Unser Baby hatte viel Platz zum Krabbeln und auch ein Babybett und Babysitz waren vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Einfach Urlaub
Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie beschrieben bzw. auf den Bilder zu sehen. Sehr sauber und die Besitzer schicken auch immer eine Erinnerung wann der Müll rausgebracht werden muss, was sehr hilfreich ist. Die Lage ist wirklich ruhig aber man brauch wirklich ein Auto um dort etwas unternehmen zu können, und das sollte etwas Bodenfreiheit haben. Die Straße zum Haus ist eben nicht die beste. Aber ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke nochmal.

Couldn’t have wished for better
We were met by Angela and Eugenio at a pre-arranged location so we could follow them to the villa. The villa and gardens are exactly as portrayed in the photos - beautifully maintained and comfortable. They surpassed our high expectations. There was a lot of local information available and any questions we had were helpfully answered. Angela speaks English but despite some perplexed expressions at times we communicated well with Eugenio via Google Translate. If we had any problem, Eugenio was immediately on hand to put it right. The family couldn’t have been more attentive. We had such a good stay we really didn’t want to leave. We were treated to some spectacular electric storms to round it all off. You need a vehicle to stay here or it’s a hot trek into Balestrate to catch the bus to go anywhere. Take care as you drive on the single track road to and from the villa as other residents are prone to reverse very quickly out of the driveways without looking! If all villas were of this quality, choosing a holiday would be so much easier. Thank you Angela, Eugenio and Mama and Papa. We know where to come when we come back to Sicily.

Skøn feriebolig
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Angela og Eugenios feriebolig. Huset har den smukkeste udsigt, med dejlig terrasse, skøn have og lækker pool med udendørs bad. Både ude og inde var der perfekt rent. Køkkenet indeholder hvad man har brug for. Jeg havde indtrykket af, at vi kunne bo der uden at leje bil, dette er dog en udfordring (særligt i sommeren, hvor der er varmest), da huset ligger højt oppe. Dog var Angela og Eugenio meget hjælpsomme til at hjælpe os med at leje bil ved det lokale biludlejningsfirma, trods mange bookinger i højsæsonen. Balestrate er en hyggelig lille by med gode restauranter, fine supermarkeder, god stemning og gode strande. Angela og Eugenio er et super værtspar, som hjælper med alt hvad man har brug for at vide og mere til:-) De er søde, smilende og hjælpsomme.

Angela and Eugenio were very kind hosts. They welcomed us and guided us to the house. They were also immediately available for any questions. The property is beautiful and we would highly recommend it for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely come back again. It looks much better than in the pictures and you have a lot of privacy. Ein Träumchen!
Wir waren 7 Tage Ende Mai bis Anfang Juni vor Ort und hatten super Wetter (30 °C). Die Vermieter haben uns beim Check-In in Balestrate empfangen und wir sind hinterher zum Haus gefahren. Vor der Einfahrt gibt es ein elektrisches Tor und das Anwesen ist zusätzlich komplett umzäunt und verfügt ebenfalls über ein elektrisches Tor; ein Auto ist obligatorisch, da das Haus etwas abgelegen liegt; was, wenn man Erholung sucht perfekt ist. Insgesamt stehen zwei weitere Häuser in unmittelbarer Nähe; in einem wohnt eine italienische Familie mit (für uns) super Musikgeschmack (Jazz) und ein weiteres Ferienhaus das ebenfalls von einer deutschen Familie bewohnt war. Wenn man auf der Suche nach einer erholsamen "Insel" ist, ist dieses Domizil wahrhaft perfekt. Am ersten Abend wollten wir grillen und haben leider im örtlichen Supermarkt keine Grillkohle finden können und deshalb die Besitzer gefragt: Etwa 30 Minuten brachte Eugenio uns etwas Grillkohle und Grillanzünder; damit hatten wir wirklich nicht gerechnet! Der Garten ist wundervoll und mit Liebe gepflegt und das Besitzer-Paar wirklich fantastisch gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und stets super freundlich. Um ehrlich zu sein finde ich nicht wirklich negative Punkte. Das einzige was vielleicht etwas gestört hatte, war das quietschende Bett; wir konnten trotzdem wunderbar durchschlafen und das auch gut! Die Klimaanlage kostet extra, wenn man sie nutzt. Wir hatten sie nicht benötigt, da die Luft in der Nacht noch schön kühl wurde. Wir empfinden es trotzdem als fair; allein die Vorstellung, dass Mieter den ganzen Tag die Klimaanlage laufen lassen würden, um abends in ein kühles Schlafzimmer zu fallen. Da steigen die Betriebskosten bestimmt ziemlich schnell. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist auch weit mehr als ausreichend und wir konnten uns hervorragend verpflegen Der Pool ist wunderbar, um sich zwischen dem Sonnen abzukühlen und ein paar kurze Bahnen zu ziehen und das größte Plus: man hat ihn für sich allein, so wie das ganze Grundstück. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbares Haus, Grundstück, Pool und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Lovely stay
We had a fantastic time, Eugenio and his wife were fantastic. The property really is excellent and the pool is nice and warm. It was a bit of a distance (probably be 20 mins walk) to Balestrate, but we were lucky we had a hire car. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to go somewhere secluded.

Lovely spacious villa with amazing gardens.
We stayed here for a week last week, the property is excellent. Decorated really well, a lot of attention to detail especially in the outside area. Has everything you will need, with a lovely pool area. Agela and Eugenio were great hosts, they communicated well and came to meet us in the town to help and direct us to the property. The villa is in a gated estate, you have other 2 villas nearby which is nice to know you are not alone. I found the location itself a little bit awkward if you wanted to go into town for dinner or shopping. It's only 15-20 walk but in the night the route has no street lights so its is very dark and you feel unsafe walking back. The villa is surrounded by a rundown neglected area. If you dont mind driving all the time then it's no issue. Overall we have a great time, thank you.

Ringraziamo la signora per la sua recensione facciamo sempre del nostro meglio per far passare una serena vacanza . Siamo in periferia e vicino a noi di fronte c’è una coltivazione di mango sulla destra una coltivazione di ulivo sulla sinistra due villette con giardino e rispettive piscine , ci dispiace che la signora abbia descritto come zona fatiscente ma non possiamo rispondere per le cose altrui . Inoltre stiamo provvedendo per illuminare la nostra strada privata che conduce alle villette .

Très belle villa, beau cadre , bien équipée, décorée avec soins. Jardin très très bien entretenu ( plantes, luminaires..) Piscines très propre, les propriétaires facilement accessibles, Eugenio entretient les lieux et reste très discret. Tout est bien !!! On recommande Voiture indispensable

Lovely villa amazing garden great pool
Great property very comfortable lots of space. Angela and Eugenio always available. Only downside is not quite walking distance to local shops and restaurants with young children but with a car only 5 mins drive. Also not too much to do locally so I would say a car is a must. Can’t fault the property though

A beautiful villa in a quiet location
We had a fantastic stay in Eugenio’s villa. We were met by Angela and Eugenio who couldn’t be more accommodating. The villa itself was spotless. The gardens were huge and had views of the mountains and the sea. Balestrate is a small town and walkable but down a very steep hill! If you are looking to stay in the area then we can’t recommend this villa highly enough!

Amazing villa
We had an amazing time, the villa is beautiful and the photos don t do it justice. The owners are always on hand to help . The town is lovely with lots of lovely restaurants and the beach is gorgeous. You wouldn't need a car if you just wanted to stay in balestrate. Thank you again for an amazing holiday

Villa Eugenio
A lovely spacious property in a gorgeous setting.: views of the mountains, lemon, olive and mango trees, very secluded and quiet. Eugenio and his son were extremely friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to anything we needed. The weather was, as expected, a bit mixed initially, but soon warmed up, though the evenings were chilly. Eugenio kindly provided a gas fire and extra blankets for us as there is no heating in the villa. Balestrate is very unspoilt and ideally placed for exploring this beautiful and varied island. It was very quiet at this time of year and both driving and visiting popular places was a pleasure! We would like to return, but maybe in May as the pool is not available until then. A lovely holiday!

John C. The villa location is superb. We've stayed in many villas over the past few years and I have to stay that this house just about beats the lot. It's in a quiet location and the house is fitted out with everything you might need for a relaxing holiday. We had a great time and thanks to Eugenio and his wife for making sure we had a . memorable holiday I'd have no hesitation in recommending the house to anyone who wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday in Sicily.

Great House with super view and nice pool
The house is modern, clean, well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The house is situated in the charming small city of Balestrate and is a perfect get away for anyone wanting to enjoy Sicily. Eygenio come with the keys and show us around the house. The pool was very nice and clean, Eugenio come several times a week to clean the pool and water his plants. There was always smile on the lips. Eugenio was a nice landlord :) We would recommend anyone to stay at the house. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We had an absolute wonderful time during our holiday stay at this summer house.
The house is situated in the charming small city of Balestrate and is a perfect get away for anyone wanting to enjoy Sicily. The house is well furnished and has everything installed for a pleasant stay. The pool functions great and is very nice to have. Eugenio and his family were gracious hosts who welcomed us on the first day and went through everything and made us feel at home. The house is great and Eugenio and his family are the perfect hosts. We would recommend anyone to stay at the house.

Prachtige villa
Villa is van bijna alle gemakken voorzien, helaas ontbreekt een afwasmachine. Prachtig uitzicht met zeer grote tuin en parkeergelegenheid. Fantastisch mooi weer, blauwe lucht en heerlijke temperatuur. De eigenaars Eugene en Angela zeer behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar. Blaffende honden gedurende de nacht is een minpuntje.

Perfektes Haus mit wunderschöner Gartenanlage
Das Haus ist in Echt noch schöner und besser als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Die Gartenanlage und der Pool sind ein Traum. Es ist zwingend nötig ein Auto zu haben. Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum. Von Balestrate selber waren wir etwas enttäuscht, umso schöner war es dann wieder zurückzukehren in die Oase vom Eugene Haus. Die Lage des Hauses ist Top mit wunderschöner Weitsicht. Der Ort ist für Ausflugsziele ideal. Castellamare und der Nationlapark Zingaro sind nicht weit entfernt. Der Weg zum Flughafen ist ca. 30 Minuten. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen TOP Aufenthalt (1. Oktoberwoche 2017) - gerne wieder.

Sehr schoenes Haus, Garten und Pool
Hallo! Wir hatten einen schoenen Aufenthalt in Sizilien. Das Haus befindet sich ausserhalb von Balestrate und man braucht definitv ein Auto. Der Garten ist gross, das Haus sehr modern und sauber und der Pool einfach traumhaft. Leider ist keine Klimaanlage im Haus. Von Sizilien selbst waren wir sehr enttaeuscht, da wurde etwas verpasst, Touristen an- bzw. zurueckzulocken.

Buongiorno mi dispiace che la vostra permanenza in sicilia non sia stata gradita, sappiamo che le cose non funzionano bene ma se lo stato non sa gestireil territorio con le relative regioni la colpa non e' nostra. Riguardo il climatizzatore nel sito c'e' scritto che la villetta non e' provvista, perche' la zona e' abbastanza ventilata e la villetta ha la coibentazione in tutti i lati tetto copreso .

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes und modernes Haus mit Gartenoase und Pool.
Wir haben uns in diesem modernen, schönen und gepflegten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge ist der Garten mit großem Pool ein Ort der Entspannung. Garten, Haus und Pool befinden sich in einem sehr gepflegtem Zustand und absolut sauber. Der Vermieter ist super nett, wir können dieses Haus nur weiter empfehlen.
