“Got in late and left early but the ppl were very kind and efficient The room clean, spacious and not standard. Fascinated by the age of the structure and he well it's kept. If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”

“Room was comfortable, however it had very poor ventilation in the bathroom and no opening windows. Paint peeling and mould in the bathroom. A nice hotel but lots of knobs and buttons missing from elevators and toilets. Friendly, helpful staff and nice meals at the restaurant. ”

“Our stay was really nice,as our hosts were so so kind and attentive,nothind was too much trouble for them. We had a few drinks in the bar before enjoying a nice meal. Cannot praise our hosts enough for their help and kindness in making our brief 1 night stay enjoyable. ”

“We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been.”

“Easy parking, great breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff. On site restaurant with good menu options, great tasting food. Only downside shower has fixed head would prefer handset option. Great stay will definitely return.”

“Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. ”

“Room was lovey and clean and beds were comfortable. Food in the restaurant was nice and the staff were all friendly. Only negative is for breakfast there was 1 lady doing everything so we waited 30 mins for our food order to be taken and then the continental buffet was all running very low as she was just to busy trying to do it all ”
