“The Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B.”

“Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”

“Quirky and typically old-English. Whist the room was small, it was quiet and very comfortable. The staff, especially the dining room waitresses, were friendly and suitably attentive. We enjoyed our meals and the location suited us very well.”

“The shower was leaking water in 4 places and difficult to operate. Water ended up going everywhere. The shower was extremely high to step up into. My other coworkers commented on this for their rooms too. The room was never cleaned or freshened up in a Mon- Fri stay. They kept asking for tips at the bar even for one drink?”

“We loved the well kept hotel. The garden is manicured and gorgeous! We ate at the restaurant and the meal was tasty and nice. We also watched live sports at the pub. Staff was very attentive in both and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying at the hotel if you’re visiting the beautiful Cotswolds. ”
