We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). “The shepherd huts are almost new and very well equipped, much larger than expected with quality fittings and underfloor heating. Lovely wooden worktops. The bed is a little high for some but fine for us. There are steps up, which you would expect. The outer hut areas have yet to see any grass, unlike a general area with oicnic benches that are grassed. Overall excellent value. ”

“I had a wonderful stay! The room is wonderfully appointed, quite large and very cozy. I was thrilled at seeing it. I'm still thinking about the amazing claw foot tub!
