“Very disappointed, felt the pictures were very misleading of how the unit would be. An airport is directly across the road and it is an extremely busy road in front of the unit. You hear planes and traffic at all hours of the day and night. Very loud. Terrible beds and pillows, probably some of the worst we have slept on. “Nice motel, you can reach the harbor in 10 minutes on foot or easily with the bus. Very good choice if you plan to visit the Acadia National Park or for whale watching or other activities in Bar Harbor.”

“My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September. We were on the 4th floor and the views of the ocean were wonderful. The room was very spacious with a balcony. Breakfast was decent. There was free parking and we were always able to find a spot. There is also a shuttle that stops in front of the lobby to bring us into downtown Bar Harbor which saved us from having to look for parking. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here...

“Harbourside Inn was such a quaint and charming stay, tucked away in the quiet town of Northeast Harbor. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the livelier Bar Harbor, which ended up being the best of both worlds for us. The shops and restaurants nearby do close fairly early, but Bar Harbor is just a short drive away whenever you want a little more action.
