“Lovely hotel, all rooms have a fabulous view, staff are very courteous, quality of the food in the restaurant is outstanding, nice pool, hot tub, sauna and spa. We had a great time and will return. ”

“Stayed for one night, the room was a little on the small side but once we tried the restaurant this didn’t matter, the food and service was excellent. The breakfast was very good and the staff were really nice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others ”

“Spa tub was lovely, veranda equally lovely. The room was clean and well appointed, front desk staff were not available when we arrived but communicated how to access our room - which was great. Dining options are sparse and you must drive if you want to have a proper dinner. No dining after 5pm at the clubhouse - which was kind of a bummer. Relaxing atmosphere for the room though - secluded and private. Incredibly peaceful. ”

“Love the inn is so close to the river, very lovely view and walk along it. Excellent food served at the inn and all the staff were very friendly during our stay. The door to our room was a bit stiff and hard to get into, and the bathroom ceiling was a bit mouldy, but other than that the stay was so wonderful and we would definitely come back again.”

“A unique blend of modern and historic architecture. The hotel preserves the history beautifully. Guests can walk around and immerse themselves into life at Stanbrook Abbey during the 1800’s. Staff are welcoming and friendly. They dealt with queries professionally and ensured our stay was pleasant and comfortable.”
