Escape to a Lakefront Cabin #2 – “The Magnolia,” located inside Lake Bastrop North Shore Park, developed by GLAT Austin and powered by Cameron Ranch Glamping (CRG). Just 45 minutes from downtown Austin, this cozy lakeside retreat combines modern design, Texas charm, and the serenity of nature — the perfect glamping escape for couples.

Inside, you’ll find stylish décor, a comfortable queen bed, hotel-quality linens, Wi-Fi, and full HVAC for year-round comfort. The cabin includes a private bathroom stocked with fresh towels and essentials. Step outside to your granite patio with a gas grill, dining area, and outdoor seating — ideal for coffee at sunrise or stargazing under the Texas sky.

🐾 Pet Friendly: Up to two dogs allowed for a $49 fee per pet, per stay. Please clean up after your pets, keep them off furniture, and never leave them unattended.

🛌 Cabin Details

• Sleeps 6 guests(best with 2-4)

• 1 King Bed with hotel-quality linens, 2 twin beds, and 2 twin trundles that pull out.

• Private bathroom with shower, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

• Mini-split HVAC (heat and A/C)

• Gas grill (propane provided) and fire pit (wood available at camp store or Buc-ee’s)

• Pet-friendly with a small one-time fee ($49 per pet, limit 2 under 60 lbs)

“The Magnolia” was designed for guests who love nature but don’t want to give up comfort. Wake up to the sound of birds and soft lake breezes, spend your day kayaking or hiking, then unwind by the fire as the stars come out. While this cabin sits within a public park, you’ll enjoy your own private space for a peaceful glamping getaway.

You have 1 parking spot by the unit but additional available within a 2-3 minute walk of the site in the general parking lot

🌿 About Glamping

This is glamping — where luxury meets the outdoors. Expect to see deer, birds, and fireflies, and maybe the occasional critter. We do regular maintenance and pest control, but this is part of the beauty of being close to nature. Bring your curiosity, a flashlight, and a sense of adventure — it’s all part of the experience!

💳 Payment & Cancellation Policy

• 50% non-refundable deposit due at booking

• Remaining 50% charged 14 days before check-in

• Cancel within 24 hours of booking: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel up to 30 days before check-in: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel less than 30 days before check-in: no refund

• Weather-related cancellations: no refunds unless a county emergency order is issued

• A $250 security hold is placed one day before check-in and released after checkout

The location is the reason we go. But the property was really not being maintained. The wifi never worked, the hot tubs are just sitting with old water in them and are really a safety hazard with children. The bathroom was very dirty and covered with mold. The shower door would not fully close so water just poured in the floor. I made these things known to the staff and was just told they would let someone know. Disappointing experience at a place we’ve previously enjoyed.
