The reception staff were exceptionally impressive with their friendly attitude and their motto “service with a smile “. They were polite answering my questions and even offered places of interest. Even the shuttle transportation driver Bagas was also very friendly and polite. Seems like the staff there were happy and this in return makes the whole environment a pleasant place to stay. The room ( a 3 bedroom apartment) were big and clean. The beds were firm without giving guests backache sleeping in it. Not all accommodation that we have stayed have such comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Definitely if we go to Batam, we will choose to stay in Panbil service apartment again.

Didn’t really fancy too much in this hotel. Breakfast a lot of food didn’t replenish shortly after all were taken off. Distance a bit far from shopping location. Necessities not fully provided. Short of hand towel. My frd’s room short of safebox, bowls, wardrobe light not working. Hotel can consider to provide comb, body lotion if possible.

This my first time coming to this hotel . The hotel is good but need to go out to take taxi and no near by coffeeshop or min Mart . Second thing quite disappointed about when I checked in my room no wifi . I inform the reception they say somebody is coming but we waited 1 hour nobody turn up and waste my time . Then we went go and come back almost 7pm there is wifi . Lastly breakfast. Just image we only eat bread and cold drink . No coffee at all even the waiter did not top up and most the food totally empty . Sorry to said this hope I don't come to this hotel again Thank u

Food was really good. How can I forget that Margerita, loal orange juice and mouth watering italian pizza. Lake view and the town view was superb. Overall okay for the paid amount except cleanliness. First sight sink in the bathroom was filled with water and comods were not cleaned. Had to ask for two times to get it cleaned

Panbil has changed since last year and I was abit disappointed with their facilities. The water in the bathroom was stuck and the breakfast was not so good as compared to last time. Nevertheless, the room is nice and we were upgraded to a bigger room

Looks OK, until you look deeper
Lobby gives an OK impression. Room looks OK at first glance. Then u see the stain on e sheets, blood on the pillow, ball of hair in the shower room, the list goes on and on. If u are not into hygiene, then this place is affordable enough for u.

Bad service Basic essential items missing
stayed 1 night from 27 to 28 Oct. The inside of the blanket in the bedroom is missing. Only the thin blanket sheet is available. Called up housekeeping from 4.30pm till 11pm. They told me they are very busy to give me a proper blanket. Finally I make a trip down to the ground floor lobby and they told me they will send someone to my room in 5 minutes. I waited for another 20 minutes before someone came by to rectify the defect blanket. Also no towels and toilet paper in the room. Must called housekeeping for these essential basic stuff. I don't recommend anyone to stay there during public holidays. The service is very bad and slow.

The suite was not as advertised. I booked a 2 bedroom suite for 3 adults. The kitchenette was a major disappointment. The suite was advertised with a fully functioning kitchenette. Yet it only came with a water kettle, 2 bowls, 2 coffee mugs, 2 glasses and some forks and spoons. There was no microwave oven. There's nothing to heat up our food. The balcony that they advertised for the "Guests Enjoyment", was only unlocked after 3 phone calls to the reception, 2 requests to 2 different staff and 2 and a half hours later. One of the sliding door of the wardrobe in the master bedroom, fell on one of us.

Pretty far from the Batam centre terminal, but worth the stay. Ideal for a trip with family / friends. You’d have to go back to city centre like Nagoya and other places which is 20 mins drive from the property.
