Hotel a Batavia

“Horrible experience. Check in started at 3 and I arrived at 8. I was told my room was not ready and wouldn’t be for a couple more hours due to staffing shortage. The manager only offered to cancel my reservation or call me when a room was ready. My disabled veteran husband started having mental issues so they got us a room quicker. Then our room had no towels. I saw a teenage housekeeper in hall who gave us towels and found out her mom was assistant manager who asked her to come in and help out....

“Shower was not so comfortable. Water pressure was not strong. Sink was not comfortable.”

“We wanted a budget-friendly place to stay in Mason that was clean, had cold A/C, and included breakfast, and this was exactly that! The building could use some updates, and the gym was limited with a few machines not working. The common areas and elevator weren’t well air-conditioned. However, our room was clean, and once we turned on the A/C, it was incredibly POWERFUL. Housekeeping refreshed towels, emptied trash, and restocked toiletries daily. “The elevators to the rooms are oddly distant from the lobby. Our room was clean, but was missing some basic supplies such as tissue and coffee for the Keurig machine. Overall, it served its purpose for us (a quite overnight sleep) but was not overly impressive.”

“The room was dirty there was on the other side of the one bed against the wall was a bunch of food and stuff it wasn't vacuumed up dust balls hanging from the ceiling bugs in the bathroom and dirt on the bathroom floor it could have been a lot cleaner for the money”

“Overall appearance is below average. This place could use maintenance virtually everywhere. The room wasn’t cleaned well and it showed, from the dirty food tray next to the microwave to the grime in the shower, to the white stains on the brown sofa, to the soiled carpet, the paint issues, green swimming pool water, and musty dirty smell in the room when you first enter the room.
