“On the positive side, communication was excellent with quick replies via WhatsApp. The bed was very comfortable, the room (Parisian Garette) looked cosy, and the nearby café had friendly staff and nice cakes - pastries cold though. Unfortunately, there were many small issues that negatively affected the stay. The pizzeria, café, and spa are advertised as hotel facilities but are actually separate businesses, which feels misleading. The Wi-Fi was advertised as 25+ Mbps but only reached around...

“Jacuzzi was out of order. I did get an email after booking so expected it to be a last minute technical fault. On speaking to permanent gym members was told it has not been working at all this year. They need to remove it from their amenities list. Also no robes as advertised.”

“Reception courteous and efficient. Thank you Tracey. Light and noise through connecting door; appalling. Waste water macerater excessively noisy - at 6 am when neighbours checked out. Poor outside area. Altogether, main hotel was irrelevant. This was a low standard at an exorbitant price for what was provided. Not recommended. ”

“Apartment was immaculate and so clean! Loved the sunken bath in the bedroom and enjoyed having the room service which we used!”

“I am afraid the experience was like 30 years ago. The rooms are clean but very dated. New bathroom though. Biggest issue was heating. We arrived at 3pm to a cold room. They had to change the heating timer for the whole hotel to warm our room … or so we were told. Later at 8-9 in the evening when we returned to our room the heating was already off again and the shower was Luke warm. The following morning was fine though. ”
