“Probably going to be hard to beat for the price. We just needed a place to sleep for the night. It was clean and had been updated inside the room. The hotel is what I would call a "retro" style. If you are expecting the modern multi level inside hotel, its not that. But seems to be in a decent neighborhood from what I could tell, and even though we weren't there for the beach, it is basically across the road. “We have stayed there many times over the years traveling to and from NJ & NC and rooms are old always but clean - we personally like it because of the location... all the way at the end of the boardwalk and out of the main hub-bub. “The furniture is a bit outdated in the first tower (OBC) and needs updating to match the decor of the Oceanaire tower. The first room I was in (Queen studio kitchenette, oceanfront) was on a lower floor where the hallway looked like a prison with brown walls. I found nasty, shaved hairs on the bedsheet like it wasn’t washed or changed between guests. I immediately call the front desk who immediately rectified the situation. “The room was tiny, dont be misled... The room in the pic was NOT the room I stayed in. The heater was flush against my bed so I burned up. I left the hotel the same night. I was misreable. Staff was good though.Plus there is a $28 a day AKA resort fee and a whopping $200 reservation fee. The Hilton doesnt even charge that much. I wouldnt stay.there again ”
