Hotel in zona Baynard Oaks, Hilton Head

“I was surprised by the state of our room considering we have stayed here before and it was great last time. This time however, there were strands of hair EVERYWHERE. On the floor, in the shower, on some of the towels. Considering we both have extremely low cut hair (buzzed), we knew it wasn’t from us. Other than that, it was okay. The view of the ocean was nice. ”

“Overall this was an average, pretty much no frills hotel. The rooms were clean. No microwave or closet in the room. You had to request new towels or room cleaning as they only do this every 2 days. However, you were not informed as such until we asked. Breakfast was average. But overall clean. ”

“This was our first stay at McMillan Inn. It was somewhat of an unplanned trip and just by chance we booked one night here. Jackpot!! We booked the Montgomery Room and it was like a storybook dream. The clawfoot tub, the king bed with fireplace, huge windows, and on and on. The property is magical. Sitting on the front porch swing at night with a glass of wine is worth the stay. “It’s starting to look a little dated and I mean that from when I originally stayed there several years ago . I understand it’s a throwback hotel but it’s not it’s nice and clean as it once was in my opinion. It’s not as fresh as it once was I think when you first stay there and everything is clean and new it’s very nostalgic and nice for the money.
