“We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, the room/beds comfortable. Convenient to shops and the restaurant right next door was a plus. Gorgeous views! Very nice pool area. I was a little concerned about the highway but you can’t hear any traffic noise at all. Overall the property rates high on our list and I tend to be picky. Oh the hot water was pleasantly hot as I love a good hot bath! Highly recommend!”

Laurie serving breakfast shared a room of amazing area knowledge during our time in the breakfast nook. We did not have time to participate in the amenities offered but were impressed to see an offering for a scavenger hunt of the island, rec equipment to check out, a deck with picnic tables, and the pool looked very inviting! This trip, we decided to try Birchwood Inn instead of our usual accommodations. Upon arrival, the office sign indicated it was open, but the door listed three different phone numbers to call for assistance. “First time staying here and we really enjoyed it”

“The beds were comfy. The dining are is well designed and the waffles were yummy. You do need to get to breakfast early. The pool was fun. Having a fridge and microwave is very convenient. The location is great. Parking was simple. The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool area would be next level with the addition of a few palm plants. Overall we were happy with our stay.”

“The pool is the cleanest area of the hotel, water would not drain in the tub while taking a shower. Blankets and sheets were stained and not clean at all, looks like just the beds were made.”
