“We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the walkway entrance was spotless. We noticed it was hosed down and scrubbed each morning. What a difference it makes. At any time of day, the receptionist at the front counter greeted us. All too often in the past, the hotel employees AT OTHER HOTELS acted as if it’s a bother to hand you another towel, to answer a question, or to even say hello. The hotel was clean. “It was our 5 yr Wedding Anniversary, and we had a great trip! Just wish there was a late check out that did not cost extra, many other places we have stayed offered it til noon, and if wanted longer after noon, then there was an additional charge.”

“Hotel in posizione tranquilla, struttura in legno, camere un po' datate ma ampie e ben tenute, la nostra camera aveva balcone con vista sulla laguna. L'hotel ha una piscina esterna e offre la colazione continentale gratuita.Si trova vicino al paese, non lontano dal parco nazionale e spiaggia.Ci riteniamo soddisfatti. “Every room has a private balcony overlooking the Chincoteague Channel. It’s wonderful to wake up in the morning to the cries of gulls and to watch the sun set at the end of the day. Rooms were comfortable, the pool temperature was just right - even in mid-summer - and staff was responsive and kind. The hotel is on the quiet edge of Chincoteague’s downtown. It’s fun to bike around this village and out to Assateague Island. ”

“This property was perfect for our stay in Chincoteague. The pool was delightful, our balcony overlooking the bay was lovely at night and for breakfast, and it was close to shopping, restaurants and the park. ”

“This is a delightful family owned hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The room has an in-room coffee maker and refrigerator. There was a hair dryer and nice toiletries as well. The microwave, vending machines, laundry facilities, lending library, and area information were in a common area. The grounds are well maintained and had many beautiful plants. “The motel is very old and smelled like it too. But we were just passing by and needed a place to sleep. Surprisingly the bed and pillows were fantastic. I actually slept really well and wasn’t ready to leave. Staff was friendly. ”
