The shower drain did not work. The bed had spiders and blood stains. There were holes in the walls. The towels were crusty, like it hasn’t been washed. “It's an old place but that doesn't mean it needs to be as old as it really is.. the room we got was probably the oldest one they have with some disgusting carpet. It's a great location and the price was better than anything else. But they really need to spruce up with clean and do some upgrades because I won't go there again.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“Just wow. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable staying in any hotel actually this was more of a motel. Im so surprised this had good ratings, it’s the only reason why I stayed here with my family. Never again. The worst by far. ”

“The room was very small for 2 beds. Not enough space to walk around and keep our luggage too. The beds were awful, they were super soft and we sunk in them. We couldn’t sleep well and we had bad backs in mornings. The shower knob was loose, the hot water took lot longer. Shower curtain was torn. It was lot expensive compared to the rooms we got. “On the day of check-in they could not find my reservation and the person took my ID to her manager without providing me details. I was waiting for 15 mins without any information. After coming back, she explained that they were not able to find my reservation. It was annoying. The room service is at the minimal even though this is a 4* hotel.
