“We got in to Whangarei late, and after a little bit of a challenge trying to find the entrance, we found the front desk. From there our experience was great. “The staff was nice and tried hard to please. But the motel property and it's location though were not ideal. The room we had was very dated, the carpet needs a good clean or wash, the toilet has a layer of light brown on the bottom, the noises from the road outside kept us awake late night and early in the morning. “Room was clean and tidy , although it had ,had a make over the workmanship was average . Broken mixer tap on hot tub which made adjusting water temperature impossible ( no cold water to cool it down). The shower head was well past needing replacement . Street appeal was mared by a dirty old mattress out front . Room heating was very good .”

“It a very comfortable motel, you have what you need in a structure that is not new or fancy, but good enough to welcome you well. We spent three night here, and we are satisfied.
