“Staff professional but not that friendly. Not too impressed that in the off season we were not allowed to use the pool or check in till 2pm. We arrived at noon. Had the place been full I would have appreciated the wait for the room. Seems petty to not at least allow guests to use the pool until the room is ready. Exterior needs a facelift. Lobby is not inviting , very dark low ceiling, it needs to be on the second floor . Advertisement for the facility is not that great when you google it. ”

“Stayed in the jacuzzi suite & didn’t work, we spent the money on it & didn’t even get to use it. Thin walls and gap under the door, could hear above us and in the halls all hours of the night. The room is outdated and needs work; Walls pealing, cracked and damaged. The room was slightly better than a dingy motel. Friendly front desk staff but Will not be staying again nor recommend. ”

“The indoor/outdoor pool was great. We love coming back, convenient getting to the pool from both buildings, quiet and clean rooms too. ”

“Room was clean. My keys did stop working several times so I would have to keep going to the front desk to get them reset. Staff is okay, they like to hide in the back office and aren’t overly friendly, but not overly mean either.”

“Nice hotel. Pool area and water was very clean and granddaughter enjoyed the slide. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was typical but lacked hot foods. They do have a small gluten free selection which was nice. Found the beds a little rough but the room overall was big and clean. Would stay there again. Better than the hotel across the street (travellodge). ”

“Our room was excellent and it met everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the room was very quiet. The pool was great, and the pool area was clean, and the towels were very clean as well The restaurant basically sucked at best. It took five minutes before anyone came to the front to see us at a table. The waitress for friendly, but the food sucked and definitely overpriced for the quality in which it was served. ”

“Neighbours next door were very loud all night. Hotel phone system kept hanging up on me when I was trying to confirm booking.”

“ it was not disclosed until after we checked in that the pool was out of service. We specifically booked there because of the pool for our kids as we were in town for a dance festival. In the future a poster at the front desk would have been appreciated so i didn't have to switch hitels after the first day.”

“This hotel is an older hotel, but you can tell they are trying to fix it up. There are even staff going around the parking lot cleaning up garbage. The rooms are nice and clean. You can tell that cleaning is important to them and I think that it is incredible as you do not find it at many hotels nowadays. Now, I want to explain the downsides to this hotel as it leads to a lot of frustration. The pool is open very limited hours and you are not allowed to even take a bottle of water out on the...

“I have stayed at the Meridian at least 50 times since it has opened. For the first time I was not able to park on the property and the fitness center has damaged equipment that requires repair ”

“The day staff and security were amazing. They should be retraining the night staff. Especially one in particular who acts like a guest is just another nuisance off the street - I was floored by his attitude. Not to mention his blatant disregard for safety. Never again. ”

“Nice functional yet contemporary furnishings. Need more desktop power and utility outlets. Breakfast was a well equipped included breakfast. A great basic hotel. ”
