  • Crockett's Escape treehouse cottage is an amazing lodging experience with a 180-degree view of beautiful Lake Greers Ferry. The private woodland retreat for two adults features a two-person jacuzzi tub that allows you to look over the entire lake while enjoying the bath and your company.

    The treehouse has a full kitchenette with stovetop oven, dining area, Fireplace with 65-inch TV mounted above the mantel. The L shaped sectional couch with chaise turns into a sleeper. Washer and dryer and loft with a single bed and Beautiful, tiled shower

    The private wrap around deck is huge and you will not find a more beautiful view of the lake from the deck

I haven’t seen them all, but I doubt you could find a more breathtaking view then the one from the deck and arched picture window on this property. My wife and I wanted a secluded, serene location to mentally and physically unwind and this fit the bill and more. The host has clearly provided everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing home away from home. We highly recommend.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The view was phenomenal. Being off the beaten path and where we felt completely secluded was just what we were looking for. The bed was so cozy, and made you want to stay 5 more minutes. Sitting in the tub without having to be outside in the elements was a plus. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset dinners out on the deck. The host communicated well and gave very easy to follow tips and instructions. If you are debating on booking this jewel, do it!

It has such incredible views & sitting on the deck, enjoying the sunsets was so great. Extremely peaceful and private. This was our second time here and we were not disappointed.

Couple Retreat

This was the best getaway space. If you are looking to totally unwind and relax, this is the place to do it. Gorgeous views and amazing sunsets. It was perfect.

The accommodations were perfect! The views are beautiful! Mochael is a great host. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Beautiful cabin on stilts

Stayed 2 nights at Crockett’s escape treehouse. Communication with property owner was great and check in process very smooth. Cabin was very clean and the view was pretty amazing. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area

The place was amazing!! Absolutely beautiful!! They layout of the place is very nice and a home feel to it and the view from the bed was spectacular just as well as the porch area!! The bed was so comfy we melted in it, was probably one of my wife favorite parts lol the place is built very solid! Between the view of greers ferry lake and the bed and just the beauty of the place it’s definitely an 11/10 and would recommend to anyone!! The drive down the dirt road down the mountain to get there was fun and added to the experience of the trip. Will probably take a truck next time, the Honda civic made it fine down and up fine just had to go slow in some spots. This place more than exceeded my expectations!!

WOW!

Is what you say driving up to the tree house and the whole time you are there every time you look out at the view. It was a perfect place to unplug and unwind! Did not want to leave!

Weekend get away

The stay was very peaceful and view was amazing. The gravel road made my wife a little nerves but if you have AWD or 4wheel drive there won't be any type of problem. The bed is very soft so you can remove some of the toppers if it causes a issue for yourself.

Amazing!

This treehouse is AMAZING! The view is gorgeous. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The road leading to the treehouse may be a little unnerving for some. The host is great and provides excellent communication. This was pur 1st stay here, but definitely won't be pur last. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Remote Retreat

Beautiful treehouse hideaway with seriously AMAZING views. Absolutely worth it! Be prepared for for mountain roads getting there. Very steep and winding in places with bumbs and runts. Nothing surprising but just make sure not to plan on taking a rear wheel drive low rider or hauling a large trailer down there.

Beautiful, but

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location, the treehuse was beautiful. But it was built for people over 6 ft tall.the shower did not work for her. The shower head was to high and water pressure too low for here to wash her hair.

Where do I begin? This place is gorgeous. The views, the inside and outside is perfect. The BED is sooo comfortable. The jacuzzi was amazing. If you are looking for a place to escape for some peace alone or with a special person to reconnect you most definitely will not be disappointed. If I had to say anything negative, the couch isn’t very comfortable and I would love to see some type of lounge chair outside. The weather was gorgeous and outside furniture is metal so not comfortable for long periods at a time. You only need food, drinks, clothing (optional) and personal hygiene products. They have thought of everything else. Will most definitely return here! Just book it, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful getaway

If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, and romantic getaway - this is it! The views were breathtaking and the cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The only comment I would make is to be very careful driving in. The road is carved out of the mountainside and the turns are very sharp. We were in a 4x4 truck so it wasn't a deal for us, but I could definitely see it being a little weary in a car. Be mindful and you should be just fine!

Beautiful views!

Overall I rate this charming little treehouse with 3 stars. It has a lot of potential but needs a couple upgrades to be a comfortable stay. 1. The mattress has no support. We didn’t sleep well and woke up in pain. By day two, I removed the 4” memory foam from the bed, that helped some but not a lot. 2. The couch is very uncomfortable. You can feel the frame when sitting and when laying down there is a bar that sticks you. The furniture is very firm. 3. The tub is not very deep and the hot water tank does not fill the tub with hot water. You end up partial submerged in luke warm water. The water pressure in the shower is very low. I stayed a week here for a relaxing vacation. If the bed and couch were more comfortable, this would’ve been the perfect vacation.
