“Was never able to check in. No staff available”

“The grounds are very nice and external kept. The pool was great, except not opening till 2p on Wednesday’s .. not sure why as it’s not a supervised pool. Everything was good, we were in the motor lodge portion of the Publick House. Con *The mini fridge froze our food, that was disappointing as it was breakfast for my daughter who was attending a daily camp. The balcony chairs could use an update. For the price we paid, I was very happy with this stay. I wouldn’t pay upward to what’s charged...

“The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed in room #3 and it was very nice. The breakfast consisted of only a cranberry muffin and Keurig coffee. Most restaurants and businesses in and around the town are closed on Monday and Tuesday.”

It didn’t bother us too much, but it had potential to be frustrating. Parking was easy. It was a fine place for a quick stop on a road trip.”

I met the owners and staff the morning after I checked in (late @ 11:45pm). They couldn't have been more hospitable. I stayed at the Walnut Inn out of necessity, attending a friend's father's funeral, and the Inn could not have been a better place for me to stay. “We stayed in one of the outside rooms and it was extremely clean, comfortable, and up to date decor. The lighting was excellent in the room and the bathroom. We felt very safe. The pool and hot tub amenities were clean and well maintained. The breakfast in the morning offered a variety of choices and it all was enough. The staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this location.”
