“Wonderful room, view, amenities and customer service”

“The ad for this property undersold what we got. This was a large apartment with a full kitchen, huge bathroom and separate laundry room. We were not expecting how nice it was. Great location, only a block of the river. Great food options. Downtown a very short walk. Riverwalk one block away. This was a great place to stay. We would stay again without hesitation. Note there was a separate damage deposit that was a little suspect because it wasn't mentioned in the Expedia reservation. ...

“Liked the staff and rooms. My concern is that we saw enough dogs to start a kennel. From start to finish. I know businesses have to embrace a "pet friendly" attitude. To me, it appears the pendulum swung too far the other way. I don't hold anything against this facility because businesses have to follow trends to stay afloat.”

“The hotel is looking its age in the hallways and stairwells. Carpets stained and water damaged on our floor. The common areas on each floor level smelled bad and musty. The gave us an accessible room which didn’t suit us and the attached parking lot was full and we had to use valet parking at $33 a night. We were able to get a parking spot the next day. “The only decor was the ubiquitous No Smoking signs, yet the whole place reeked of smoke. Our room smelled of smoke and people smoked freely on the balconies, in the lobby, etc.”
