Hotel vicino a Belmont Regional Park - Lower Hutt

“Had a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator with cookware and dishes. Room was very clean. Had a small balcony. No restaurant on site but there are options nearby. There is even a grocery store to buy water and stuff. We get very safe. They give access to a well equipped gym which was amazing. The housekeepers gave us bandaid when my daughter got hurt. I locked myself out by accident in night- the manager answered the ring and helped open my door within few minutes, even though...

“Located nicely! It’s a really good motel for such a cheap price! Clean rooms and spacious room! Love that it has a parking space for your car as well! Check in is supposed to be till 9pm but we arrived at 10pm - but the owner/manager kindly waited for us to arrive. The kitchennete is so big and had everything! The beds are so comfy and plenty of pillows! They have a big cabinet for you to pur your stuff in and plenty of hangers! Taking off some stars because in our room there was a bad smell...

“We had room 825 which was upstairs with a spa bath. Lovely views of the beach and plenty of room. Only complaint would be the towels were looking a bit old and Grey with some stains. Definitely need to be upgraded. Otherwise would definitely recommend. We stayed here for an event in Wellington, easy access to trains or busses into town”

“The room itself was ok i guess but not set up very well, the tv was mounted in a pisition that makes it awkward to view from the main bed which doubles as the couch/searing i guess, no small milk like most motels offer at check in, also found it a bit strange to see there was cutlery and plates and cooking utensils etc however nothing to actually cook on , si if you require anyrhing beyond a jug and toaster then youl need to bring it with you or buy it while your there, ps theres coffee and tea...

“Ther first room had an overwhelming bleach smell and the shower door was not clean, I could not sleep there! I asked for another room, it wa so little better, the bed was comfortable but I checked out early to book elsewhere.”

“Have stayed at this location multiple times, with each and every occasion being absolutely wonderful! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!”
