“Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast is amazing and staff friendly and helpful. Our economy room is small but had what we needed for our 3 night stay. Excellent value with free parking as well ”

“A quiet location on the outskirts of Lowestoft where you will receive a personal welcome, good service and a comfortable, spacious and well prepared room….what’s not to like. Oh, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced too.”

“Had booked a single room but on arrival found out I had been upgraded to a double. Happy days. All staff I encountered, especially the breakfast employees, were so helpful, kind thoughtful and friendly. Room was plenty big enough even with my dogs bed. Shower was efficient and so the hotel was quiet at night. Only gripe - tea bags were not what I’m used to and not great. Otherwise ideal stay. Great vfm too. ”

“Had a great stay, beautiful twin room, great view with loads of storage. Plenty of drawers and a good sized wardrobe with ample hangers. Two comfortable arm chairs and a dressing table with a chair. Beds a little soft for my liking but I do prefer a firm mattress. Nice en-suite, shower a little small and so was the sink but wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast was good, quality of both sausage and bacon really nice. Good selection of cereal and fruit plus yogurt, again personal preference my son would...

“Lovely stay at Golden Triangle Townhouse. I did think all rooms were en suite, but the shared bathroom facilities were good. Lovely and clean and had a great stay. Walkable to the city and bus stop just down the road.”

“Loved the de luxe room we were allocated. Whole of hotel was classy from the decor to staff attentiveness.Only chose to have the breakfast option which had many choices to choose from. Hotel is in the centre of Southwold and most things happen from the tour centre. Will definitely be going back there again.”

“The Hotel was excellent the staff were very polite helpful friendly tidy and very good at their job. The breakfast was not only amazing piping hot very good quality very big and was given service to the table. The room was spotless the bed was very comfortable plenty of tea coffee etc only one thing no lift to top floor but very boutique style would definitely go back ”

“We were visiting friends in Cromer Pier Show and I wanted to book a last minute Hotel. The Holiday Inn was the closest (over 20 miles away) and available and the best rate.
I didn’t realise breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise when the receptionist informed us at check in.
We could have used the pool, but didn’t have time in the end. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My son and I will be back next year, unless we camp in Cromer.

“We booked a delux double and boy was it value for money. Beautiful spacious room, giant,comfortable bed, 2armchairs,dressing table and to top that off French doors to a small balcony, overlooking the pier and sea front. Bathroom was also spacious with great shower and a large jacuzzi bath with a TV! (which was delightful). Evening meal was basic but tasty and good value for money. Definitely recommend and will come and stay again. ”

The room itself was very large with a good modern bathroom, although to get the shower at a reasonable temperature was a work of art - you need to be patient that the hot water will eventually come!
