“Well appointed close to all facilities and beach. The cottage was well stocked but showing signs of wear and tear which you expect with high occupancy , unfortunately the main concern was the water temperature it was tepid and never got hot which meant cold baths and showers therefore we didn’t use the hot tub who wants constant cold showers for that reason alone we would not use the property again or recommend it.”

“Lovely old pub with good rooms available, Gary is a nice friendly host and really cares that you enjoy your stay. We had our evening meal and drinks there which were good quality and value for money. The breakfast was top notch and you helped yourself to good quality coffee and toast. I've already booked a stay here again.”

“This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.”

“The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

“Easy and friendly check in. Clean and tidy room. I had a single room and the sink in the bathroom was the size of a shoe box. I am not a breakfast person but I do like coffee. When I asked whether it was possible for me to get morning coffee for my travel mug I was told there was coffee in my room. I had hoped for and was willing to pay for a decent filter coffee as opposed to a sachet of Nescafé. Had burger and fries for evening meal "with salad".
