Worst experience at a hotel ever. Vaughn was great when I checked in. After that, it became a nightmare when I discovered ants in the kitchen area. I reported it, even cleaned it up, called the desk and deferred moving to another room until the next night, hoping the problem was solved. I had to work all day and came back to find more ants, Called the desk to report it and was scolded for not agreeing to move the day before which was offered to me late at night and as I left for work the next morning - neither ideal times to pack up and move. Also turned down a comped room out of politeness and was scolded for that too. The desk staff hung up on me when I called the second night. Surreal. When I went to address the issue in person, I was scolded again. Finally moved rooms but had to convince the staff I was not complaining, rather reporting a recurring problem in their hotel. I would think they would want to clear it up but they didn’t. Instead they were hostile. I have photos and video. Miscommunication between managers caused this hostility which was admitted to me. Oddest hotel experience ever.
