The Space:

Welcome to our newly renovated home in the heart of Berrien Springs! This stunning home features stainless kitchen appliances, granite countertops, hard bamboo flooring, privacy, and a peaceful location. You will find yourself just minutes from everything Berrien Springs has to offer from Wolf's Prairie Park (right across the street!), unique fairs, festivals, wineries, a boat club just around the corner with convenient lake access, breweries, and a charming downtown space to explore the local culture!



Inside our beautiful home, you and your family will find sleeping space for up to 5 people, a fully stocked kitchen, a private entrance and back yard, and comfort around every corner!



As a hosting family, we strongly believe in making memories wherever you are. That is why we have provided local suggestions so you can enjoy the experience of fully immersing yourself in the local culture. We are here to help with any questions or suggestions as we aim to create memories through Unique Stays! Please read our policies before booking.

This house was in a very clean and organized. The kitchen had everything I needed to finish Thanksgiving dinner. It was roomy but still cozy. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We were close to many things we liked to do and easy access to main roads. The bed was comfortable. Quick communication with owner/managers..The kept the sidewalk cleared of snow.

Beautifully kept home in a friendly rural neighborhood. It sits on a property across from a park and nearby lake. We loved the quiet environment and access to farms and wineries. Close to South Bend, it offers the opportunity to visit places like Notre Dame. Great place I highly recommend.

Wonderful home

This home was great, excellent location on a quiet street, the park was perfect for our toddler. The home was incredibly clean, welcoming and had every amenity we needed for our stay. We’d love to come back again this summer!

Very clean and comfortable

We had a nice stay with a beautiful park across the street. The house was very clean and comfortable beds. The middle bedroom needs a dresser or chest of drawers as there was nowhere to put clothes. There is a closet but many things don’t hang and nowhere to keep an open suitcase. We had an unexpected man arrive to blow leaves or something. We were at the park and saw him walk around to the back of the house, so that was a concern. He was very nice and explained that he did maintenance outside for a few homes there, but a heads up on his arrival would have made us more comfortable. The front door really needs a blind or curtain. We felt anyone outside could look in especially at night with the lights on. Other than that we had a nice and comfortable stay.

Great place for a getaway!

This was perfect for my mom, my sister and me! Definitely clean and we had everything we needed. It was nice to be on a quiet street and the park is great if you have children that want to play. Be sure to check out the pizza place in town. Right beside it is Salt Haven and we loved that experience as well!

Cute house - bad experience

Very disappointing start to this stay. We arrived about 5pm (family trip-one of us from out of country) and had received all the messages about check in and the house being ready. The house was not cleaned. Beds, towels, and bathrooms were dirty (one toilet even had urine on the seat). After contacting property management, they said they wouldn’t be able to get it cleaned that day and that we could have a refund or stay somewhere else for one night and then check back in the following day after 4pm. We were quite surprised by this “offer” as there were no other options if we chose a refund and we would lose a whole day with the second option (not to mention the inconvenience of having to move). Management attitude seemed to be, “sorry, nothing we can do.” We were not offered a discount or one night off and none of us would choose to stay somewhere under this management again. Since we had no other place to stay, we put a LOT of pressure on them to have it cleaned in the morning so we didn’t have to wait all day. They would not guarantee that so we spent the next morning with all our stuff in the car not knowing what time we could move. It ended up being ready around 10am but was handled so poorly. At one point we asked for a discount/one night off and our request was ignored! The most unfortunate part was that this house is very cute and in a nice location (close to Berrien and the fair which is why we came) but this experience took away from all the good.

Almost alarmingly quiet, very clean and VERY comfortable!

I was a bit concerned about renting a home from a company instead of a single person, but this was totally the way to go! I have stayed in other homes where the homeowner skimped on things such as not replacing worn mattresses or buying cheap linens. Everything in this place had a luxurious yet practical feel. The beds were plush and heavenly, the rugs were like walking on bunny tails and the cleanliness was superb. We were in town working at the Fair so unfortunately we were pretty much only at this house to sleep and have a late night snack and did not get to check out the backyard, the views or the amazing park across the street. The only two VERY minor suggestions we have have to do oddly enough with window coverings. First, the bedroom with the epic king size bed in it has accordion blinds but they are bright white and the sun sears your eyes at the crack of dawn. If you are like me and are a light sleeper especially when it comes to this, I would suggesting an eye mask (or perhaps blackout curtains will be installed in there at some point for people like us. :) #2 was that the front door is glass on the upper half and does not have any sort of shade. The issue with this is if you are perhaps, wandering out into the kitchen in your jammies, you are very visible (it is a direct line of sight to the kitchen). This secluded home would be a perfect peaceful place to return to after a day at the beach (20 min away). We recommend Revive Coffee btw! We will return! :)

Overall nice place to stay

Property appeared fairly clean and was supplied nicely . We noticed that the ice maker was not working so we didn’t have any ice to use . Some suggestions for the owner It would have been nice to have some ceiling fans for the bedrooms and living room . There was no air movement . We wanted to sit outside but didn’t find an patio furniture so we just stayed inside . Another nice addition would be a screen door to bring in outside fresh air . We have used vrbo for at least 16 years and always have received high ratings after checking out so we feel a little input never hurts.

I absolutely love our stay. The house was the perfect size for our family. I love having the Park right there. The view was great. I didn't like that we could adjust the air. It was a little colder for the kids and that I had to call for the door code when I got there. Outside of those things I loved our stay.

We arrived Friday night and were very pleased with the property. It was pristine when we walked in. We received a welcome text letting us know if we needed anything to feel free to contact the owner. The beds were amazing, comfortable with lots of great pillows. Most hotels I can not sleep through the night or if I do my back is killing me when I get up. Woke up each day feeling well rested. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking our meals which saves so much on not going out for every meal. Overall a great place to stay. Great view of the lake and a nice park right across the street. We were in town for a robotics competition for our daughter so we were gone most of the day but close to school so able to get back and relax was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice get away.
