“No problem with the room but be aware that the motel is pet friendly. Unfortunately our neighbor had a small dog that barked incessantly for about half an hour beginning at 6:00 am. Apparently the owner was out of the room.”

But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed. “On Expedia, this property is listed as No pets allowed, which is why we chose it. I have allergies and need a no pet location. While there, we saw several dogs in the hotel. Their actual website says pets allowed. Expedia has the wrong information!!!”
