The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. “Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly. “Excellent all round. Such a lovely helpful, warm welcome on arrival and every morning at breakfast, which was delicious. Room was lovely, spacious enough for two and really quiet. 2 min walk to beachfront, 5 min walk to town. Will definitely be going back.”

“Would 100% recommend going to this hotel was treated with great service and hospitality, located right near the beach and other attractions, but what made the stay exceptionally pleasant was the staff, especially Nina and Sukunder very hard working and polite and always made sure me and partner had the best stay I will definitely be returning. 👍”

“Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. Massive shower and super modern and clean. Highly recommended. ”

“The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet at night and couldnt hear anything when breakfast started in the morning. Peacocks outside werent too vocal early morning so we got plenty of sleep. Staff were outstanding, friendly, polite and smiley. Breakfast was very tasty, only slight moan was portions could have been bigger but maybe thats us being greedy. We will definitely come back and stay again, we loved it”
