“Staff were amazing, we arrived hours early and they allowed us to check in so we could relax. Nothing is close y but there are busses or you can walk 10 mins to the gas station for snacks. Breakfast was simple with toast, yogurt, juice and hot drinks. The hotel was spotless and smelled amazing. They give you a free drink voucher at the bar which we used for wine. “The room was clean but tired, the bathroom grout has mould and needs a good scrub. The floorboards in an old building creak and squeak and sleep quality on a Saturday night when an always difficult. Oh well, I eventually slept but probably won’t book again in a hurry as there is better value and sleep quality elsewhere. ”

“I was travelling with a disabled person and the staff were lovely accomodating us with a shower chair. The bed was so incredibly comfy. One of the best hotel nights sleep I’ve ever had. Property was clean and the casino accessible by lift which is what we came for. The only disappointment was that that I did expect a bit more “fanciness” with the rooms - given it is the Star Grand. I was hoping for a mini bar in the room and maybe a bath. ”
