“I enjoyed my stay at Montfair. I loved having my own little cabin on the lake so much I extended my stay. I took time to walk the property and get out into the woods. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great property! 10+ Stars!”

“Pleasant property very comfortable beds. Great location for walking to a football game or around town to shops and restaurants. The young man running the lobby when we arrived was charming and made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. “Our room was exceptionally clean, working AC and window dressings that worked!!! Breakfast was small room but the food was good, hot and well made. The breakfast attendant was cheerful, smiling and very attentive. We spend a great deal of time in Charlottesville as my husband is a patient at UVA and we are required to be there several times a month. We have tried many of the hotels in the area and find this one to be among the best for the price.”

“We loved this beautiful mountain inn. The room is spotless and well-appointed, with a splendidly comfortable bed. The front porch is a fabulous place to sit in a rocker and watch the world go by.
