“This is an excellent property with caring owners. The rooms are well-appointed, parking is a dream, there is a great park and the river nearby. Marty and Tiff run the property semi-remotely, which actually works very well! Very responsive to requests and attentive to their guests needs. Scones from the cafe in town were a nice addition. Be sure to ask for daily room cleaning if you want it, try the lounge—which has a very good whiskey collection—and just enjoy!”

“The breakfast was made fresh!! It was awesome,,,lots of varieties. The Staff was very friendly! The room waa okay....needed a new box of Kleenex only one sheet left. The chair by the desk has some kinda dust on it. Clean it off with water and wash cloth. The wash cloth was dirty. The pool area was good. The pool was very cold ....the Hot tub was warm but, all and all it was a wonderful trip!! ”

“Under construction. The carpet in our room was gross. Sticky? Otherwise nice. The outdoor restaurant was cool.”

“My wife and I only used the same room 2 nights after 10PM until 7AM next mornings (Aug. 30 & 31). The first night the sink was hard to use since it varily drained. The next morning the desk was made aware of this problem. It was still that way when we returned late that evening. We just let you know we won' use them in the future!”

“Most of the outlets in our room didn’t work. The previous owner had a pool but this new owner- no pool? Hopefully they’ll get that again in the future. We didn’t try the breakfast. Otherwise, affordable. You paid for what you get.”

“Poor service, water leaking into room, mold on ceiling, Staff not helpful and very rude. Asked to change rooms and they just brush you off. They were not American. Wouldn’t recommend. Lots of riff raf at the motel. Sketchy place.”

“Really like the rooms and spacious bathrooms, relaxing, quiet and near the Riverside Park to enjoy view of the river. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“My family attended the River fest in LaCrosse, WI on July 4th. The hotel was a few block walk from the event, not for the faint of heart carrying chairs. The hotel was nice and the breakfast was a plus. Parking on site limited the plus a parking ramp is across the street.”
