Hotel vicino a Blackbox Theatre - Charlotte

“I think the “Luxury home” part of the listing was a bit of a stretch but overall we had a good time during our stay. The frame for the king bed was terrible though, any movement no matter how small was incredibly loud to the point you can’t believe what you’re hearing is even possible. I greatly appreciated a call from the owner to touch base about checking out and what not, and unlike many other spots that expect you to deep clean the house before leaving, this one had no such requirement.”

“I called the place and tbe phone didn’t answer so we went to the place and my brother tried calling there after we asked the staff if the phone works and it didn’t ring! I proceeded to ask her to give me a good number to call form there and gave me her own phone number instead! She said she’ll give me a call back the next day but didn’t! “Pros: breakfast was okay, you have the choices of making a waffle, eating 2 different kinds of cereals, or a couple different pastries/bagles. No protein and no drinks besides coffee and the gallon of milk they put in a bowl of ice water but don’t worry there are $3 drinks in the vending near front desk. “Do not stay at this hotel. My daughter spent one night and was bitten by bedbugs. You read that right: bedbugs! When she informed the hotel, they demanded that she produce photos of the bedbugs, which was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially since they could see the bites on her ankle and how painful it was. “I was charged for early check-in, late check-out, and the deposit when I done preregistration when I arrived I was charged again for late check-out and the deposit and was told the other charge was the room price however I paid for the room a week earlier I have all the charges on my bank statement. “Pictures online are not accurate and area is not safe. Check in desk isn’t even at Red Lion, it’s at the Radisson. The building is very old, the rooms are outdated and the AC was not working on multiple floors. Requested a new room and was moved onto the same floor with same AC issues. Ended up not staying and going to South End Holiday Inn & Suites instead.”

“I booked a room on 06/16/2026 for my birthday and my bed was infested with bedbugs. I have bites all over my body. Please help!”

“The lobby is being remodeled so there is no access to it; the picture on the website should be removed or this should be noted. However, check in was quick/efficient. Parking was adequate. The entrance to the halls smells heavily of smoke, etc. Thankfully the room did not smell of smoke. The TV was unavailable through the rain. Bedding, towels, toiletries were adequate. The shower provided only extremely hot water making it unusable. The AC worked properly.”
