From the staff at the restaurant / bar to the staff assistance when I couldn’t do the automated checkin (Expedia reservations / non-UK addresses don’t line up with their system), you could tell that they wanted you to be delighted with your stay. Would definitely stay here again if I am in Southport. ”

“Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. ”

“Superb hotel, the gardens and the harbour view are stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities good and felt like quite a treat. We did not pay extra for the hot breakfast and I don't think there was any need, the continental selection is very high end and delicious. Our room was on the back and quite snug but we knew that when we booked. ”

“Only a one night stay with our son and new wife to celebrate their wedding that day. Staff were amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Made use of the pool and sauna and quiet areas although had to stop using the pool for the aerobics class. Had dinner in the Upper Deck restaurant which was lovely. Again brilliant staff who new their stuff”

“The staff was incredibly helpful from beginning to end. Forgot to bring my adapters for US to UK, they loaned me one to recharge my phone etc for my stay. We arrived a few hours prior to check in time and were allowed to rest in spa area. We were provided free shuttle to cruise terminal. Our accommodation was excellent. Would stay again.”
