“Very comfortable room, friendly staff with very good service and good variety of meals with a specials board and carvery. Meals were reasonable and dinner times were busy and you need to reserve a table. Highly recommend it.”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Il pub e' delizioso e ci si può divertire( freccette e bigliardo)il personale gentilissimo le stanze carine però nell'insieme la struttura andrebbe più curata. Il giardino e l'hotel dovrebbero essere puliti meglio. Il ristorante fa porzioni molto abbondanti la qualità e' discreta. ”

“Una esperienza diversa. Una struttura d'epoca a poche centinaia di mesi dalla Cattedrale, rimodernata ma che conserva intatte le caratteristiche originali. Siamo entrati attraverso il pub e ci siamo "arrampicati" su una scala di legno fino al terzo piano (senza ascensore). La ns camera era una famigliare molto ampia, completa di tutto e con un suo fascino antico. Davvero gentili i ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura. Colazione favolosa. “A very enjoyable stay, the room was beautifuly decorated with plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Had a meal in the restaurant first evening which was very enjoyable. Great outdoor and indoor space to have a drink. Poole is a lovely area and we thought this hotel was very good value.”

“A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ”

“Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will.”
