  • Cruise into your peaceful Blue Ridge escape! Tucked in the white oaks and maples right off of the BR Parkway, this serene RV is the ultimate basecamp for parkway riders, hikers, and cyclists. Unwind by the firepit, grill out beside the awning, or swing in the hammock. 1BR, 1BA, Sleeps 6. Features an indoor speaker system, A/C, heat, and indoor games. Experience a unique off-grid style stay. Add-ons available include Pool usage & stocked fridge, and snack packages!

    The Setting
    Tucked away on a quiet back road lined with mature white oak and maple trees, this RV experience offers a serene and peaceful mountain escape. Located less than a 5 minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway, it serves as the ultimate, tranquil basecamp for Blue Ridge Parkway riders, hikers, and cyclists looking to explore the best of Virginia's outdoors.

    The Indoor Space
    Inside, you’ll find a surprisingly spacious layout designed for comfort and connection. The rear living area features two cozy recliners, a TV with a DVD player, and an integrated indoor speaker system so you can enjoy your jams. System is bluetooth capable and a cable is provided as well.

    The sleeping arrangements include:

    Private Bedroom: Features a private sliding door for quiet separation.

    Living Area Sofa: Easily converts into a bed, complete with an added mattress pad for extra comfort. (Pillows and bedding are conveniently located in the cabinets directly above).

    Convertible Dinette: The dining table easily converts into an additional bed, which is best suited for children.

    The camper is fully climate-controlled with AC and heat, and runs on propane for hot water. You’ll have a full kitchen at your disposal (stove, oven, and sink), alongside a private bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet.

    The Outdoor Oasis
    Our outdoor setup is truly designed for deep relaxation and taking a break from the busy world.

    Under the Awning: Step outside to an outdoor seating area featuring comfortable patio furniture and a multi-use table perfect for food prep or setting up our camper-sized BBQ grill. You’ll also find two rocker chairs to relax in the shade.

    In the Yard: Unwind completely in the hammock under the trees, or gather around the table for a game. Games are located in RV cabinet above dinette.

    By the Fire: As evening falls, light a fire in the firepit and kick back in the classic Adirondack chairs, complete with matching leg rests for ultimate stargazing.

    Whether you are drinking your morning coffee surrounded by nature or resting your muscles after a long day on the trails, this space is designed to help your brain take a break and your body truly relax. Welcome to our slice of the Blue Ridge!

    You are more than welcome to wander through the front yard and fully immerse yourself in the serene, peaceful atmosphere. Whether you want to take a slow morning stroll with your coffee under the canopy of white oaks and maples, stretch out on the grass for some morning yoga, or just sit quietly and listen to the birds, the front yard is yours to enjoy.

    We love connecting with our guests, but we also highly respect your privacy! To keep your stay seamless, we use the messaging app for all communication and updates. We’ll be in touch through messages to coordinate a convenient daily time to service the RV water tanks, answer any questions you have about the area, or send over local trail recommendations.     Hiking Trails
    The Triple Crown of Virginia: If you are looking for iconic Appalachian Trail views, we are close to the famous "Triple Crown": McAfee Knob (the most photographed spot on the AT), Dragon’s Tooth (a fun, rugged rock scramble), and Tinker Cliffs.

    Read Mountain Preserve: Located very close by, the 5-mile round-trip hike to Buzzards Rock offers an incredible panoramic view of the Roanoke Valley without the massive crowds.

    Explore Park (Milepost 114): Great for easier, scenic woodland walks along the Roanoke River.

    Road Cycling & Motorcycling Routes
    The Blue Ridge Parkway: Known as America’s Favorite Drive, you can hop right onto the Parkway just minutes away. For a beautiful, classic challenge, cycle or ride from Mill Mountain (Milepost 120) north toward the Peaks of Otter (Milepost 86).

    The Famous Beer Ride Route: A legendary local road cycling route that loops through the scenic, rolling country lanes of Botetourt County.

    Buchanan Swinging Bridge Loop: A gorgeous, 38-mile paved ride that takes you through historic Nace and down to the historic swinging bridge in Buchanan.

    Mountain Biking Recommendations
    Carvins Cove Natural Reserve: This is a world-class mountain biking paradise! With over 60 miles of singletrack and fire roads twisting around a stunning 600-acre reservoir, it's a must-visit. Check out Enchanted Forest for a scenic, flowy green trail, or The Gauntlet and The Trough if you want technical, fast descents.

    Mill Mountain Park: Located right in the city, offering great urban singletrack loops right beneath the famous Roanoke Star.

    Prominent Spots to See on the Blue Ridge Parkway
    Peaks of Otter (Milepost 86): A stunning destination featuring Sharp Top Mountain, Abbott Lake, and a historic lodge.

    Mills Gap Overlook (Milepost 91): A fantastic overlook with sweeping valley views, perfect for a sunset pause.

    The Roanoke Star & Overlook (Milepost 120): Take the short detour off the Parkway to see the world's largest freestanding illuminated man-made star and get the best view of downtown Roanoke.
