“Very friendly staff.”

“This is not a hotel. It's a motel. I chose a handicap accessible room, because I wanted as many safety rails as possible in the bathroom. (i'm in my 70's and have cancer and other health issues.) (This was a one night stay) The room wasn't very clean. The soap scum in the tub/shower was bad. But the worst thing was that at 9:15 pm my smoke alarm went off. (there was absolutely no smoke, and I have never smoked in my life) It would not go off. I thought the motel must be on fire...

“We really like Avid - this was our second stay at this hotel. We like the fact that you have everything you need, and nothing that you don't need. It suits us for a quick night on the road.”

“A tired old motel. Could use a deep cleaning. Only way to upstairs rooms is a steep back stairway. There are much nicer motels around it for just a few dollars more.”

“The rooms have a musty smell, the evening front desk employee was extremely helpful and gave us another room, the smell wasn’t as bad but still musty. In the breakfast area there was not much of a selection so it’s more a continental breakfast. Although breakfast is until 10am, the coffee had finished by 9:30am. When we asked the morning front desk employee if we could get coffee, she stated coffee was done for the day, and this on a Sunday morning!!”

“We stayed here for the Ella Langley concert in Salem. It was perfect! The lofts are beautifully renovated. We had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It was very clean and felt safe. Parking was free. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Everything was great except there is no outdoor pool as stated. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance. Staff was very nice, room was very clean and comfortable. We didnt use the breakfast, but the coffee was great”
