“I really wanted to give this property five stars- location, balcony room, and the room itself was clean and smelled fresh, BUT the bathroom was very dirty, the hallways smelled so heavy of cigarette smoke, and the breakfast was mediocre. Okay in a pinch, but next time, I'll book a different hotel.”

“Large bugs in my room. Told by staff they were throughout the hotel. Poor TV reception. Slow internet. Items on breakfast bar were cold. I had a sausage that was still frozen.”

“Parking was well lit, close and ample. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. While the hotel proper held beautiful elements of it's almost 200 year history, the rooms themselves were basic Hampton Inn variety. It didn't bother us in the least. Breakfast was about what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. I found the choice for kielbasa sausage as a meat option, versus bacon and breakfast sausage, a little odd for breakfast, but it was good. I wish they'd had grits or biscuits...

“The good. Parking in front of door to room. Clean rooms and property. Located close to interstate and next to tesla charging, Breakfast ok. The not so good. Room small, bathroom tiny, bed too soft, tv was too confusing to use (just installed, poorly).”

“The hotel was clean and updated. The room itself was also very clean. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked and had many options. The parking area was clean and safe. We had a room that faced the back, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel was clean and well kept, though a little bit dated. The room was clean and well supplied. The heat system was very noisy, and had a continuous high pitch while running, as did the refrigerator. The breakfast was well stocked and was clean. The staff person did an excellent job of refilling supplies, when needed. The parking area seemed secure and safe. Overall, the hotel was very nice.”

“The room was reasonably clean but the halls smelled of mildew. The staff as nice as could be but the breakfast was minimal.The location is terrific and the views lovely. All told, despite the limitations I would come again for the central location and the courtesy of the staff.”
