“Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. “The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. ”

“Absolute treasure. Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect. Staff super respectful and approachable. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. “My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you .”

“There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. ”

“I booked the ground floor easy access room which was big and a big bathroom. There was also a fridge in the room and lovely biscuits with the tea and coffee. A super breakfast and very nice tea.”

“No parking as advertised. Staff were very casual - often sat on their phones on the sofa round the corner from the front desk. There was nowhere to hang the shower hose. It was just loose over the bath. They did fix it once I told them, but I would've expected it to have been addressed before my arrival.
