I had asked to see photos of the property after I reserved it since there were no pictures of Suite 11 available, but unfortunately I never received them. The photos that were on the website also didn’t seem to accurately reflect the room. The suite was incredibly small, which ultimately wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were also initially given the wrong code to access our room, though this was resolved quickly with a phone call. The AC/heating unit also wasn’t positioned very well, as it blew directly onto the bed/seating area, making it somewhat uncomfortable. Additionally, the walls were extremely thin. I could clearly hear everything happening in the neighboring unit, as well as the cleaning staff in the morning. I understand the staff can’t avoid making noise while working, but it did make it difficult to fully relax during the stay. That said, the location of the property was excellent and very convenient for getting around the area.

Great location however I think the owners were trying to sweat us out. We asked them to help with the temp and they just gave us a second box fan. We woke up and went to sleep in about 95 degrees. This is intended to be a long term option so hospitality is limited. You will need to ask for extras, if needed. No one answers the phone on the weekend. Also, it’s apparent this is a property that cares a lot about revenue and less about the customer experience. Most everything provided with your stay is low quality and they charge for early check in to create more revenue.

This is a good, clean, no-frills place to stay in a charming and interesting part of Boston. It's very convenient to many things such as the State House, Beacon Hill & Charles Street the Common, and MassGeneral. The check in was easy with codes sent. Only complaint is the shower. Nowhere to put stuff and the water didn't really get any hotter than warm.

Location 10/10, nothing to complain whatsoever about that, in this economy with this much amenities in the room this was great. Cleanliness 8/10. Only deducted because this is just personal thing nothing they did wrong - I'm allergic to colorants in cleaners and if you are like me and are sensitive to colorants in cleaners (red 40, yellow 5, etc) the bedsheets will suffocate you for sure. I had to go get my own towels, sheets and pillows from tj maxx before being able to sleep. But that also means the sheets always get washed every time I guess so it's a good thing. Quietness 4/10 - the place is definitely "one house divided into multiple units" kind of a situation (idk how that works with bld codes but) so you WILL hear people talking and movements. But then again this is more of a "rest your head and get out" kind of a place not a resort-cation place, which works out. Accessibility accommodation 0/10 as in if you have a hard time walking up the stairs please dont book this place, it has narrow winding stairs and the brick steps in front is definitely not the smoothest path to stroll through. This was expected and it is not a complain - just happen to run into a neighbor staying and she was just on and on complaining about it so just wanted to leave it here that, yeah, it's an expected feature here.
