Step into style, comfort, and creativity at McKenzie Corner, a thoughtfully reimagined 1950s ranch home located on a quiet, privately fenced corner lot in the heart of Waco. This amenity-rich retreat blends mid-century charm with modern design, offering a truly elevated stay for families, friend groups, or business travelers.

This single-level home features 3 beautifully styled bedrooms, including a King suite, Queen room, and a Baylor-themed room with two Full beds. With sleep space for up to 10 guests, additional accommodations include a leather sectional, a Novogratz futon, and comfortable gathering areas throughout the home. Each room is equipped with thoughtful extras—sound machines, essential oil diffusers, luxury eucalyptus bedding, blackout blinds, and remote-controlled fans for your comfort.

The fully equipped designer kitchen includes an air fryer, kids’ dishware, cookbooks, and eat-in island seating, while the dining and lounge spaces are perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Enjoy a curated coffee and cocktail bar, tucked-away workspaces with ring lights and strong Wi-Fi, and cozy reading nooks. The home also features motion-activated lighting, walk-in closets, a separate beverage fridge, and plenty of storage for your stay.

  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Heart of Texas Livestock Show

The location to the Fair grounds was a short drive & the house was perfect. The host had provided the most thoughtful needs of anything you might need. We were impressed! Loved everything about McKenzie Corner. Slept so peacefully every night. If ever back in Waco I will definitely look into renting this home again. Becky H Houston

Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well maintained and so cute! property. There was an A/C hiccup that management jumped right on despite it being a Saturday. They were prepared to offer 2 alternative properties but no need. The issue was solved and the house was soon nice and cool. We had everything we needed. Will definitely return.

One of a kind cozy spot!

Stayed in Waco for a long weekend of shopping and Baylor Baseball. This house was conveniently located and had everything we needed. Loved loved the decor - so much wallpaper!! Unique design with lots of extras. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property - Outstanding Host

This home is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. When I had a question, the host provided quick information. The home is well equipped; we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and it was so nice to have coffee supplied. I usually have to purchase some on the first day. If I am back in the area, I will definitely check this properties availability first!

Family weekend visiting our daughter at Baylor

What a well thought out and amazingly decorated property! We have stayed at countless VRBO’s and this hands down was the cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed. The beds were fabulous. Communication prior to stay was thorough and detailed! The small and big details are beyond noticeable throughout the entire place. It was a little farther than we normally like to be from campus but was still accessible. Like most rentals in Waco this beautiful property was in a neighborhood like most with some redos and fixer uppers. We would definitely choose to stay at this property again. The backyard set up was adorable and had weather been a little cooler would have been the perfect spot to have coffee or hang out as a family. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with our family! We had a great weekend!

Very well kept property that looked exactly as pictured. It was furnished beautifully and the host thought of everything we would need, from snacks to motion sensored lighting. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful

Our stay at McKenzie Corner was perfect. The house is exactly as you see it online, super clean and super comfortable. There is no dining table so if you have a few people you will have to eat sitting on the couches or chairs but that would not deter me from staying here again. The neighborhood is quiet and close to Baylor. We ALL loved this house and enjoyed our stay here!
