They wouldn't give us a discount or anything and they miraculously opened the pool right after we disputed through Expedia. The rooms were nice and we had 3 beds in ours. “John, the guy who was always at the front and anywhere else that was helpful for the guests is amazing. He knew the best restaurants, places to go and when was the best times to go. He knew the history of the hotel and more. Everyone needs a “John” to explain the area, history and whatever you might need he is there to help with a smile and a handshake.”

“Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. I was shocked the mattresses were not protected with encasings for bugs and such. The hot tub had a black moldy ring around it. Overall it was a nice stay. I like that the pool is not super deep. It was 5 ft and 3ft. Loved the nightly ice cream social.”

“The staff who checked us in wasn't friendly, in our opinion. It was a straight forward interaction which was fine enough. The hotel is definitely dated, but our room seemed clean aside from the pull out mattress. It was yellowed and very uncomfortable. The king bed was nice and soft, but it didn't fit three of us comfortably so we slept poorly due to the pull-out being unusable / not up to our standards.”

“Everyone was friendly & so helpful. They made sure our stay was enjoyable. A couple small things, like a slow shower drain & a light that didn't work, but otherwise the room was perfect. Beds were very comfortable & room was quiet. Highly recommend Dutton Inn.”
