“The Stannard Inn is an absolute jewel box on the Connecticut shoreline! It is a beautifully decorated coastal chic Captain’s home with thoughtfully appointed guests rooms and public areas. The Innkeepers were so deliberate with the amenities they offered and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Will definitely be back again”

“So charming! The Inn itself is nicely furnished in a cozy manner, curated with interesting collections of things and vintage or antique objects throughout. “It was great. Easy check in and check out. Love that the chexk out qas at 11 and noe wicked early. If i go to a event in the area again i would definitely stay here again.”

“The room was very dirty and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and then marijuana smoke when we opened windows. This affected my son's asthma badly. There was hair on my sheets. Dog barking most of the night.”

“Nice big room & bathroom. Very nice & welcoming staff, from front desk and restaurant to housekeeping. Parking is plentiful & free. The only drawback is that the grille & bar are closed on Sunday evenings, a time when some weary travelers don't want to look elsewhere.”
