“Lin is lovely and I honestly don't know how she does it. it's an old house like most in Ilfracombe so don't expect a lift and the car park is quite steep. I stayed here for a few days either side of a trip to Lundy and it was perfect for me. Lin would have let me leave my car in the car park had she not been full but it was perfectly safe on the road outside as there are no restrictions and it was only a 15 minute walk to the pier. Breakfast is great if a little late for me - I'm an early riser...

“A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay.”

“The hosts could not have been more helpful. The copper room was better than I expected, with a very large comfortable bed, an area to eat, lots of tea & coffee and even fresh milk. The en suit was well designed with a large shower and good quality soft towels. I would not hesitate to return or recommend, this is one of the best rooms we have rented. ”

“Lovely inn very near the water’s edge. The West Lyn and East Lyn rivers join together just outside the front door and both spill into the Atlantic less than a five-minute walk away. It is an interesting old building detailed by Marie-Ann in the guest information book, and has a garden where one can sit and enjoy the views. Our room was well equipped with tea tray etc and Marie - Ann's delicious home made biscuits. We would certainly recommend this place to friends. ”
