Moving Mountains is excited to offer complimentary shuttle service for this luxury vacation home from mid-November through mid-April.

There is something about being nestled in the trees that eases the mind and soothes the soul. After a day of mountain adventure – maybe hiking the nearby Quandary Mountain, wind down in the private outdoor hot tub while you listen to the whispering winds through the surrounding pines… Welcome to Whispering Pines, an ideal mountain getaway.

Upon entering the Whispering Pines duplex, you’ll discover a beautiful and open main level with large windows and high ceilings – the sliding doors open to an expansive deck with outdoor seating in the summer months and a BBQ gas grill. Back inside, your group will be able to spread out in the open floor plan that combines the kitchen, living area, and dining area – the spacious kitchen features a gas stove, ample workspace, and a large island with bar seating. The adjacent dining area offers seating for eight at the table. After dinner, retreat to the living area and enjoy a nice fire in the gas fireplace and a movie on the flat-screen TV.

Just down the hall from the living area is the primary king suite offering its gas fireplace, a cozy king bed, TV, deck access, and beautiful ensuite bath, featuring dual sinks on a large vanity, large soaking tub, and separate walk-in shower.

Also on the main level, you’ll find an office which offers a quiet place to slip away to complete any work while on vacation or just relax on the sofa with a good book or movie on the large TV. A powder bath is conveniently located in the hallway.

Looking for some exciting evening entertainment and competition while on vacation? Discover the ultimate rec room on the lower level complete with billiards, foosball, bar, comfortable sitting area with a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. Whether you prefer a night in with a great movie – or an exciting foosball tournament, this is the perfect space for you! You’ll also find the hot tub outside the sliding glass door for some late-night stargazing.

Two bedrooms can also be found on the lower level – a Queen room and a fun bunk room for the kids, both sharing a hall bath. On the upper level of the home is a beautiful King ensuite room with a TV and great views. Across the hall is another King ensuite with TV and you used it- more great views.

Guests have use of the washer and dryer and a two-bay heated garage with parking for 4 cars total.

Whispering Pines is located near Moving Mountain’s 5-bedroom Starlit Pines Lodge. Reserve both homes for a fun family reunion or larger groups.

FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED IN THE WINTER MONTHS.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

ABOUT THE AREA
Just south of Breck’s iconic Main Street sits Blue River, a peaceful riverside community focused on preserving natural beauty. You’ll discover endless outdoor adventures in Blue River, year-round including hiking/biking and fishing in the summer months and snowshoeing in winter. The nearby Mohawk Lakes are the perfect place to scope out wildlife and get your daily dose of outdoor adventure.

Breckenridge is easily accessible by car, or shuttle, in minutes. While staying at Whispering Pines you can easily walk to the Summit Stage shuttle stop, less than 5 minutes away.

We ask that you please respect the wildlife that is present in Blue River – keep plenty of distance and do not offer any food.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
