Alpine Grandeur is a magnificent custom home in the exclusive Shock Hill neighborhood of Breckenridge, and a distinguished member of our Apex Collection. The centerpiece of the main level is a luxurious living area set around a grand fireplace and with windows that frame the spectacular views of Breckenridge’s surrounding mountain peaks. Across the entryway is the dining room with a custom hardwood table that seats 12 guests.

Chefs will be in their element in the gourmet kitchen, equipped with everything needed to create culinary masterpieces - two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sinks, two ovens, a gas stovetop, coffee maker, espresso machine, and butler’s pantry. Gather outside for lounging and al fresco dining on the large wrap-around deck with gas grill.

Wake up to views of the ski resort’s Peaks 8 and 9 from the primary suite that is conveniently located on the main level. The primary suite boasts a king-size bed, and a hidden flat screen TV that rises from the bench at the foot of the bed, separate reading nook, private balcony, and luxurious ensuite bathroom with Japanese-style toilet. The spacious walk-in closet leads to a laundry room and on through to the mudroom that features an equipment warmer to keep your boots and gloves dry and toasty.

The 3-car garage leads into the mudroom with a boot dryer, and also into a gym set up with machines, weights, a TV and water fountain.

Children will delight in having the upper level as their playground, literally. The kids’ suite features two full beds and five twins, a game table, Legos and toy car tables, a loft, and the highlight is an indoor slide. There is a large bathroom off the kids’ suite with two walk-in showers and two sinks.

For guests wanting their own private living space, the library-themed king bedroom on this upper level has a sitting area with TV, gas fireplace, plenty of books, and gorgeous views of Baldy Mountain. Guests have an ensuite half bathroom and can use the shared full bath down the hall outside the kids' room. A second laundry room completes this level.

Head down the spiral staircase, or take the home’s elevator, to the ground level where fun and games and surprises await. Coming first to a spacious living area that has a full bar with mini-fridge, icemaker, dishwasher and microwave. Grab a cocktail and head for a game of pool where you can choose from a 8- or 9-ball rack and a variety of pool cue sticks. Or relax on the cozy couches in front of the TV and wood-burning fireplace.

Movie nights are a treat in the theater room, complete with popcorn maker. Outside the theater room don’t just breeze by what looks like a normal bookcase. Push it open and walk into one of the most exciting rooms in the house – a secret arcade! You’ll find shuffleboard, a Pac-Man machine, Star Wars & Jurassic Park themed pinball machines, two Skeeball machines, a game table, and a large TV.

Four of the home’s seven bedrooms are also on this ground level and all have king beds. Three of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The fourth uses a shared full bathroom off the living area. Another full laundry room is on this level.

The outside living space is just as stunning as the inside. Large French doors open from the lower level onto a large patio with lounge chairs, an oversized hot tub and views of the surrounding forest.

ABOUT THE AREA
Located in the exclusive Shock Hill neighborhood of Breckenridge, Alpine Grandeur offers convenient access to the Breck Connect Gondola’s mid-station stop (8-minute walk). The home has walking access to the Breckenridge Nordic Center trails. Not a skier? No problem - the Gondola is also a fun and convenient way to commute to Breck’s Main Street for an afternoon of shopping and lunch without having to deal with parking. Alpine Grandeur is located approximately one mile from Breck’s Main Street.

Alpine Grandeur is next to the 7-bedroom Summit at Shock Hill residence. Reserve both homes for a family reunion or a corporate retreat.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
