Inn a Brighton

“Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”

“Beautiful room. Bathroom was a Wet Room very useful for limited mobility and ease of showering. Nice toiletries. (No tissues though. That’s the only negative). Food was ok. Garden was amazing. Breakfast was first class with good quality ingredients served by 2 very friendly happy ladies. Sean & Chris were very welcoming. Overall a great find will def be back. Lesley & Mike”

“The room was small. Only small semi-circular shelves either side of the bed. Not bedside tables. We only had one bath towel and one bath sheet between us. There were no complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and milk and fresh mugs not replaced during our 3 night stay. There were no curtains and a blind that did not keep out the light. “The room was lovely. We couldn't open 2 of the windows so it was an incredibly stuffy night. There was a fan provided but opening the windows would have been a better option. A small thing really.”

“Friendly welcome and very helpful. Nicely decorated room, well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Good selection at breakfast. Would have been better if maybe you could help yourself to juice, cereals, yogurts and pastries. Nicely cooked, well presented English breakfast although could have done with another egg! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Village of Angmering lovely with few cafes and shops. Excellent base to visit Petworth and surrounding Sussex countryside. Great for visiting...

“Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”

“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”
