“We had the most amazing time at the Clarendon Forest Retreat. We stayed in the Sanctuary house. The peace and quiet, sitting looking over the hills in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub was so what we needed. Also, one of the highlights was when we were in the local corner shop, we were sharing with the lady at the cash register that we were staying at the Clarendon Forest Retreat and the gentleman behind us was the builder of the house! We highly recommend this place! ”

“We had a great stay, perfect for our needs. Great communication from the management team with a lovely confirmation call on the morning of our stay, and great check in-check out communication. We loved that continental breakfast can be delivered to your room in the morning - it evoked very fond memories of stays in country motels as a kid. The rooms have been renovated, and are some of the best country motel rooms that we have stayed (we’ve seen them all!). The bathroom renovations in particular...

“Very easy to find and Les went above and beyond as we were running late and he rang us to make sure everything was ok and then organised to have our key in night safe and text us with details of room etc so we didn’t have to stress as weather was bad. He then asked us to text when we got in our room so as to make sure we were safe. Will definitely be returning and recommending this motel to friends and family. Thank you for a pleasant stay. ”
