The location is great, as it is situated in the middle of the town centre, but we stay because it is 5 mins from our family, so we will definitely be back.”

“The room was big and very clean, with a big bathroom, I really appreciated the room! We had dinner in the pub and it was one of the best of our holiday! Also the breakfast was very good and big. I really recommend this place. ”

While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. “Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. “Food was wonderful. Room was very clean, with a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an information pack in the room that gives all relevant information. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. ”
