The location is great, as it is situated in the middle of the town centre, but we stay because it is 5 mins from our family, so we will definitely be back.”

While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. ”

“Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful.
