“Loved the location of this hotel. Easy to walk to breakfast, dinner, sites and shopping. Loved the rocking chair front porch. The room was very nice. We got a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Good use of space in a small room but plenty of room to move. Loved having a refrigerator. Get desserts across the street at the carriage house! “Breakfast could of been much better. Not everyone wants biscuits and sausage gravy to start there day. Disappointed on that.”

“The property was nice, very well maintained and very friendly staff. I was disappointed with the lack of breakfast options. Hard-boiled eggs and cereal hardly counts as continental breakfast. With the money spent to stay, I at least expected hot breakfast options.”

“It wasn’t very clean 80’s style tub in the middle of the room. The carpet wasn’t clean. Typically when we stay in a Holiday Inn it is generally clean and well maintained. The desk clerk that checked us in was not friendly. I had asked if there was a room with a view of the lake. She was like nope this is it.”

But for what they charge, which I guess is in line with what everyone else charges on the island for rooms, food, and activities, the value is super low.
